Neither Amazon nor the manufacturer are very truthful in the description…first of all…FORGET paying expedited shipping!!! It won’t come in the usual expedited sense, so don’t count on it coming in 2-3 business days…it’s more like 5-7 busness days. The manufacturer will NOT refund you the money either, as they say it is an issue with Amazon.com. Secondly, REMEMBER, this is is a “hygienic” item so they do not offer returns…fortunately for me I had not inflated mine so they agreed to refund me the money;—minus the shipping/insurance etc. to mail it back. This item is NOT easy to inflate OR deflate! Forget fitting it in a small bag on the plane, after you’ve used it the first time unless you are quite good at inflating and deflating it…It has several steps to the entire thing…way too much for me to remember or go thru after having been on a 10 hour flight. I would NOT recommend this item, and I recommend that Amazon state more clearly the shipping snafu, plus the manufacturer describe the inflation/deflation steps and that they do not take returns. No where did I see this in the ad.Skyrest Travel Pillow

So, I bought this for a trip that I leave for in less than three weeks. so I may need to update the review if it doesn’t work out. but I inflated this thing at home and sat down with it on my lap. I think it will work great! I found it was most comfortable when not quite inflated all the way. Also, it doesn’t take up too much space when deflated. it gets very flat, so I figure it will pack nicely against one side of my bag. I was also thinking I will put a big pillow case on it- since this head position may very well lead to drooling! haha. I don’t care if I drool if it means I can sleep through a flight!
I always sleep with my head on the tray table -but I am 5′11″ so that isn’t always possible. I will be flying from the West Coast to Athens- so I thought this was worth a shot. we’ll see!
Very disappointed. Was on long trip to Asia. Could never use comfortably and got rid of it rather than have the big/bulky item taking up valuable space. Especially hard to use if you are flying economy since there is very little space to put the item if the seat in front of you is lowered and you are trying to fit yourself in too. I am tiny and someone bigger would have an even harder time fitting.

the posture that you have to get into to really support your neck isn’t meant for long hours. it starts hurting the back. Also with limited seat space in the flight it’s not easy to lean forward especiallyif the guy in front of you has relined his seat. All in all a poorly designed or I shoud say non ergenomic!
