In Beijing the government demolishes many homes, will it ever happen in the US?
Many of the residents of Beijing neighborhoods believe that the process by which the government demolishes old neighborhoods to make way for new upscale developments could not happen in the US, because the US government would side with the residents against the developers. Are they correct? Why or why not?
